24. Therefore, O king, may my counsel be acceptable to you: Renounce your sins through righteousness and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Perhaps your prosperity will be prolonged.β
25. All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar.
26. At the end of twelve months, as he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon,
27. the king exclaimed, βIs this not the great Babylon that I have built as the royal residence by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?β
